Today is the Day 01 of Learning How To Type Faster In 30 Days

Current Status

Current Typing Speed (WPM): 58.67

Accuracy Percentage: 80 – 85%

Any Milestone Reached? — 60WPM but not consistently

What Did I Do Today?

Today, I kicked things off by taking four typing tests. I focused entirely on speed—just pushing myself to type as fast as I could without worrying about accuracy. I used three sites to track my progress:

Reflection:

What Felt Easier Today?

My left hand is definitely faster. Common words flow easily, and I barely have to think. I notice that when my left hand takes the lead, everything feels smooth and natural.

What Was Challenging?

I’m struggling with accuracy when typing complex words. My WPM drops drastically when typing numbers. My right-hand side typing is where I need to put my focus on.

Learning:

Did I learn something new today?

Not really. Today was more about getting into the groove of this challenge, setting up the journal, and laying down the foundation. I didn’t pick up any new techniques, but tomorrow, I’ll definitely shift gears.

New Typing Tips or Tricks to Apply Tomorrow:

Like I said, I’ll do things differently tomorrow!

Tomorrow’s Goal:

Typing Speed Goal (WPM):

I want to hit a consistent 60 WPM three times in a row.

Focus Area:

Still going to prioritize speed, but I’ll start paying more attention to accuracy. My right hand needs work, so that’s going to be a key focus.

So yeah, that was the DAY 01 of 30 of the Learning How To Type Faster!

I’ll see you guys tomorrow!
