2️⃣ Notes:
8:35 pm: Took rest yesterday due to intense exercise on Day 02. Today I again practised doing the kick-up to handstand and today I failed gloriously. Because I was too hasty and I wanted to get that adrenaline rush I felt on Day 02. 1 PRO TIP: Never ever do exercise after drinking protein shake especially going upside down. I might throw up any second now.
Today’s session ended abruptly as I fell on my forearm and knee while trying to do a handstand. (Yup, I could send that clip to Fail Army but thank god I was not recording🙂)
So yeah that’s the summarization of the whole training session of Day 04
3️⃣ Breakthroughs & Struggles:
🏆 Longest Hold Today: [62 seconds] wall handstand hold
🎯 Biggest Win: None
⚠️ What felt hardest today? – NA
4️⃣ Plan for Next Session:
🎯 One Key Focus for Next Training: Need to train other body parts before training the handstand
🔄 Drill to Repeat or Modify: [Pike walks. Pike holds. Hollow body holds]
5️⃣ Overall Training Rating (1-10):
📊 Scale: 7
📝 Why did I give this rating? – Already discussed

2️⃣ Notes:
10:30 am: Started finding the solutions to the problems I described on DAY 01.
Watched: How To Handstand | ANYONE CAN DO THIS (Chris Heria looks so good holding a handstand and doing the handstand progressions… He is too smooth.)
Testing myself on the first phase. Did pike holds and practised the proper form of handstand
8:40 pm: OHHH MYY GODDD!!! What just happened today…
Today was Day 02 of learning how to do a handstand, and I got my FIRST TASTE of it. Till yesterday, I couldn’t even handle my body, and today—I held my first handstand. I felt like I was defying gravity (even if it was just for a second lol).
My handstand wasn’t perfect, but it was close to it! (Can’t wait to make a video about it). The happiness and excitement I’m feeling right now are just out of this park.
But before that 2 bad things happened that could’ve been “worse”. First, I used too much kick-up momentum and was about to fall on my back—but luckily, I was close to the door. The 2nd thing was, that I almost broke my WiFi antenna (which is fine, thank god).
Today is Mahashivratri, and I feel like Adiyogi’s blessing came onto me, and I’m so grateful for that. I want to write for much longer, but you’ll get bored (lol). In short, that is how I was feeling.
That one second, I swear, felt like five seconds (minimum)—but when I rewound the video, I saw the reality 🙂.
But how? How was I able to get the taste of victory on Day 02?
Observation.
When I watched the video, I paid detailed attention to what Chris was saying and took notes based on the things I was doing wrong.
For example (note these down because these are the biggest and most important tips):
- Squeeze every muscle of your body! (Still need to work on that)
- Keep your feet together.
- Always look at the middle of your hands and DON’T MOVE YOUR HEAD.
- Keep hands and shoulders stacked (the first step aka base)
- Come slowly after the handstand. Remember the 1st Tip.
- Lock your hands out!
- Lead with your hips (I’m still trying to figure this out)
I wanted to practice more but my wrists started hurting so I had to step back. I am sure by the time DAY 07 arrives I will be considerably better. BELIEVE THAT!
3️⃣ Breakthroughs & Struggles:
🏆 Longest Hold Today: [1-2 seconds] – Handstand and not wall handstand
🎯 Biggest Win: Tasted how handstands taste like!
⚠️ What felt hardest today? – Squeeze every muscle of my body and come slowly down
🛠 What will I adjust next time? – Keeping all the 7 tips in mind!
4️⃣ Plan for Next Session:
🎯 One Key Focus for Next Training: Squeeze every muscle of my body and keeping feet together!
🔄 Drill to Repeat or Modify: Kick up to handstand
5️⃣ Overall Training Rating (1-10):
📊 Scale: 10
📝 Why did I give this rating? – You already read why! Cheers, see you tomorrow!

2️⃣ Notes:
My brute strength is developed… I need to FOCUS on core control and glute activation and especially work on the “Falling Mechanics”
The fear of falling
Not proper hand placement I feel
Not being able to stack the feet >>> I NEED TO FIX MY PELVIS and KEEP MY HANDS STRAIGHT. I am getting the fear of falling as always
Too much learning force on the front side aka on the door side >>> YUP NO CONTROL ON THAT… I am just playing on my brute strength
HOW TO MICRO-ADJUST
Glute Activation
3️⃣ Breakthroughs & Struggles:
🏆 Longest Hold Today: [61 seconds]
🎯 Biggest Win: Holding wall handstand for 60 seconds
⚠️ What felt hardest today? – Getting over the feeling of falling
🛠 What will I adjust next time? – I need to grip the floor like a rock climber. First, I need to make solid base then I can balance my body upwards.
4️⃣ Plan for Next Session:
🎯 One Key Focus for Next Training: Glute activation. Learning handstand exits. Core training
🔄 Drill to Repeat or Modify: Handstand holds. Kick up practice
5️⃣ Overall Training Rating (1-10):
📊 Scale: 10
📝 Why did I give this rating? – Set a base for myself and learned the basic mechanics. I am super pumped!
